Bytown Railway Society

Ottawa, the capital of Canada was once called Bytown, after its founder, Colonel Jonn By. The Bytown Railway Society (BRS) is devoted to railway history, both in the Ottawa area and nationally. It has several publications, two of which are Branchline and Canadian Trackside Guide. They also care for and restore historic equipment at the National Museum of Science and Technology.
