Cimarron River (left) is a 1948 Pullman-Standard sleeper owner by Meteor Rail, Inc. It was built for the Frisco as car 1466 Cimarron River. In June 1966 it was sold to Canadian National as car 2105 Rainbow Falls. In March 1978 it transferred to VIA and was picked up by Meteor Rail in 1983. It bears Amtrak identification number 800069.
The middle two photos show the Pine Tree State owned by the Piedmont-Carolina Chapter of the NRHS. It was built by Pullman-Standard in 1955 as New Haven 553 Pine Tree State. It kept the same name under Penn Central ownership but was renumbered 4435. It again kept its name under Amtrak ownership but carried the number 3212. The NRHS acquired the car in 1982. Its Amtrak identification number is 800236.
Caritas at the far right is presently owner by High Iron Rail Services who acquired the car from Eastern Rail Car Services. This 1948 Pullman-Standard product started life as Frisco car number 1450 Pierre Laclede. In January 1966 it went to CN as 14-4 sleeper Churchill Falls car number 2095. It kept its name and number when it was transferred to VIA and was acquired by Eastern Rail Car Services in May 1983. It carries Amtrak identification number 800045.
